You notice her, you are interested and now you want to make your move. You picture approaching her, striking up a conversation that makes her laugh, so you ask her out, she says yes and the rest is history. If only it was that easy. There is a reason why it is called the dating game. In this game, both sides are playing with a different rule book. Your rule book tells you to be direct, see if she shows interest and take it from there. Her rule book, the “Advanced Play Hard to Get edition”, tells her to display just enough interest to show up on your radar. She is going to give you enough signals to keep you interested, but will throw many blocking maneuvers your way.
When you look at her, you catch her looking at you but she quickly looks away right? She is interested, but does not want to be the first to make a move. She wants you to approach her first. If she is playing hard to get she will not make this easy. She wants you to be willing to chase her, even if only for a little. It lets them know, you really want them. If you tell a girl you aren’t looking for anything serious and she says she isn’t either, don’t always believe her. Instead, look for some of the subtle physical signs that she likes you. Look at how her friends see you, she is definitely talking about you to them. Her friends are her safety net. They are reading you, just as she is. They will laugh at her jokes so you can see how clever she is. She is interested, but does not want to show her hand yet, so she is playing hard to get.
When you talk directly to her, she may avoid direct eye contact. Why? She is afraid her eyes will give away her true feelings of interest. She expects you to draw her out; win her over. This restraint is simply a devise to not appear overly interested. But be aware of body language, for that speaks volumes. Why do girls play hard to get? Most of the time, they are afraid of appearing too eager. They think that we will lose interest if theirs no challenge. They don’t want the guy to feel as if their easy, like we can have them so fast you know? So they put up walls, for us to knock down. If we can get through the few obstacles they put our way, then we can get through anything with them. <3
This always happens :T

man.. valley christian… so many people are talking behind my back saying “why is everybody bringing their ukulele” or “ukulele again?” but the truth is that only like 6 people bring ukuleles. Its really annoying that people are saying that because they dont understand the meaning of the ukuleles at school. they have to understand one thing for starters, most of the people who are bringing ukuleles are filipino and one of them being me. and its an outlet of portable entertainment. Guitars are too bulky to be carried around every period. I also hate how some white people are bringing their ukes and trying to play it as well as the original ukulele players, but they try too hard. I believe its a hereditary trait that most filipinos and hawaiians and asians can play uke well.
now its 50 years ever since the 1960s instead of 40 years… the greatness of music within that decade and the next 2 will probably be forgotten by people who are blind to the flashing lights and electronics of the “hip children”. By the time we’re adults most of us will be saying “T-Pain started the auto tune” and our children will say what most people are saying about rock and roll…”I don’t care. This music is better.” There are always a couple people that have insight in music and see the ingenious work that the legends of rock and roll made up. And forever I will remember them and try to let my kids know that theyre better than the musicians at their time.
